Solitude in the Virgin Islands

As the Cold Arctic air makes its was across the US, know that there are places in the Caribbean where the daytime temperature is in the 80s and nights are in the low 70s. Where you can jump overboard from your crewed charter yacht Solitude into warm turquoise waters that feel like your bath tub’s water and swim to a beautiful white sand beach. Mind you not in a wet suit but your swimsuit or birth suit. Combine this with an attentive crew of Captain Glenn and First Mate / Chef Christina. Both with very interesting backgrounds. Glenn loves gadgets, planes, boats and to fix things. Christina is a retired fire fighter, paramedic and rescue diver from Florida. 

She also holds a 50 Ton Master Captain’s license. Christina has been an avid sailor and power boater since the age of 9 and scuba diver since the age of 12. Her last 2 years have been spent sailing the Spanish, US and British Virgin Islands. She has worked as 1st mate, chef and captain on other sailing and power vessels through out the Virgin Islands, Florida & Florida Keys, and throughout the Bahamas. Christina’s secondary role during her career as a fire fighter was the firehouse chef. Her mother who is a retired culinary teacher from Florida was instrumental in honing her fine culinary skills. As a gourmet chef, Christina can cook delicious dishes from a variety of regions throughout the world. Let her prepare you a savory dish that looks almost too good to eat, just ask the captain!

I am ready to go as it was in the 20s this morning here in Florida. Whenever it gets this cold here I am ready to head South. Wouldn’t you too like to head south to Solitude?
